Project Details

Legacy Legal Group is a small law firm located in Traverse City Michigan that specializes in family law, estate planning, and bankruptcy law.

When I was approached to help the team build a fresh new brand for the organization there were two primary requests. Include the color purple and avoid any traditional legal clip art.

After deep exploration of the mission of Legacy Legal Group, we began to explore a monogram that included a family tree. This symbol reflects the legal support that Legacy Legal Group offers its clients at multiple stages of their lives.

Expanding the Brand

In early 2020, Legacy Legal Group combined its practice. This brought a new tagline to the logo and added blue to the primary wordmark. 

The logo now includes three color versions. A blue and purple version that anyone in the firm can use as well as color-coded versions for each of the partners to use.
