Red Hot Best is a classic yearly voting event and Northern Michigan mainstay that culminates in an 18-page feature with 100+ categories—creating a guidebook that tells the masses the best places to go and the best things to do.

From the 301+ winners, selections for what to photograph had to be carefully made not to overlap with previous year’s winners and to demonstrate an array of categories and show a range of locations beyond the immediate Traverse City area.

The 2016 feature design features multiple shots of featured locations and fun chat bubbles with light-hearted comments telling readers exactly what is “BEST.”
